Dellfer, an IoT, and automotive cybersecurity company has received a seed investment, of over $2 M, led by DENSO International America, an automotive supplier of advanced technology. Sand Hill Angels, a Silicon Valley-based investment group focused on IoT connected technologies, also participated in the round.
DENSO’s investment in Dellfer signifies the company’s strong interest in the future cyber protection of vehicles. Understanding new cyber attacks that vehicles will face in the future, and protecting against those attacks, is a critical success factor for enabling a safe and secure mobility experience for drivers and riders and the investment will help the company to fulfil this motive by working with Dellfer, said Tony Cannestra, DENSO’s Director of Corporate Ventures.
Dellfer will be using the investment to expand operations and formally launch its innovative platform in the automotive industry initially.
