Microsoft, Nomad and Kymeta team up

Nomad GCS will showcase their Tactical Command Vehicle featuring a Kymeta terminal, demonstrating how satellite can enable remote command and control functions from virtually anywhere.

Kymeta and Nomad Global Communications Systems (GCS) along with Microsoft are demonstrating the connectivity solutions for public safety and first responders at Kymeta campus.

The connectivity solutions have been enabled by Kymeta KyWayTM terminals, KyWay TM Go mobile units, and KALOTM internet access services.

Kymeta is known to be a leader in flat-panel satellite antennas enabling always-on mobile broadband and Nomad Global Communications Systems (GCS) is provider of mobile operations solutions for agencies and businesses with remote communications needs.

Microsoft and Kymeta are jointly demonstrating end-to-end communications and networking on the edge with the Microsoft Patrol Platform and Microsoft Tactical Edge Platform featuring cutting-edge hardware, software, Windows Apportals, Azure Cloud integration, and connectivity to the Internet of Things (IoT), connected by Kymeta KyWay terminals.

Nomad GCS will showcase their Tactical Command Vehicle featuring a Kymeta terminal, demonstrating how satellite can enable remote command and control functions from virtually anywhere.

Kymeta will also show the Kymeta KyWay Go – a ruggedized, portable, rapidly deployable SATCOM terminal – and various testbeds that are making the future of hybrid networks and connected vehicles a reality.
