Telenav enables 11.9-million vehicles with connected services around the globe

Telenav, a provider of connected-car and location-based services, has announced that a cumulative 11.9-million Telenav-enabled vehicles offering connected services have now been deployed in markets around the globe.

Telenav’s recent business highlights includes:

• Telenav hybrid navigation solution launched on additional GM model year 2019 vehicles, including the Chevrolet Blazer, Chevrolet Malibu, and Cadillac CT6.

• Telenav Scout® GPS Link (SGL) launched on additional Toyota model year 2019 vehicles, including Toyota RAV4 and Lexus UX.

• Telenav and Amazon collaborated to bring customized, turnkey Alexa conversational-voice interface to Telenav in-car navigation.

• Telenav Scout GPS Link (SGL) mobile application added Yelp ratings and reviews for the U.S. and Canadian markets.

Additionally, the company claims that it has surpassed 21-million cumulative total vehicles shipped that feature Telenav software or services.
