Citroën to launch SUV C3-XR with telematics features in China

Published: October 01, 2014 | Paris

Citroen will launch the new C3-XR at the Paris Motor Show. The new compact SUV is aimed at the Chinese market and will include a telematics offering.

The vehicle is being presented at a symbolic location, C_42 on the Champs-Elysées, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Franco-Chinese diplomatic relations and emphasise the French origins of this SUV.

Very close to the concept car presented at Beijing in April 2014, the C3-XR is a pure product of  the CITROËN centre of style, which applied all of its know-how and creativity in the conception of  this SUV, with its immediately identifiable design projecting robustness, elegance and dynamism. As one of CITROËN’s distinctive traits, comfort is at the highest level, thanks to benchmark levels of spaciousness, a roomy and welcoming driving position, and ride comfort worthy of the best saloons. The CITROËN C3-XR also benefits from the latest innovations, making for easier use through its technological equipment (keyless entry and starting, reversing camera, grip control)
and its connectivity via the Citroën telematic services.

The car is expected to be rolled out in the market in December 2014.
