The next-gen GPS navigation for iPhone released by Sygic

Sygic has introduced the next generation of its Sygic GPS Navigation application, available on App Store starting. Update for Android users will be released in the second half of this year.

The new native application was completely remade from the ground up. The new version is the fourth full overhaul of Sygic’s navigation experience in the 10 years of the company’s existence. The goal for a team of designers, developers and user experience specialists was to create a perfect blend of the car navigation with natural iOS user experience.

The new Sygic GPS Navigation was designed with map-centric approach to allow users fast access to key features and all important information while on the road. It delivers fresh user-friendly interface, seamless search and enhanced route preview to let users easily change the route according to their preferences. Users of Sygic GPS Navigation, offline navigation app, will also enjoy even faster installation of maps in the Sygic application yet.

The next generation of Sygic GPS Navigation with a design that feels natural and easy to use is available for free on the App Store. Unlike other map services, map data in Sygic GPS Navigation is stored on the user’s phone instead of streamed from the Internet, which means that Sygic users don’t have to worry about running up against their cellular data caps by using GPS navigation or getting lost in an area with poor reception. When Sygic’s users are online, they have access to more useful features like real-time traffic and road incident sharing with other drivers.

With Sygic GPS Navigation a user can enjoy FOREVER FREE: offline TomTom maps, POIs, route planning & free map updates. High quality maps from TomTom and other providers are stored in the users iPhone or iPad for use without internet connection.
