Press Release

BOS Semiconductors to develop ADAS chip system for an European OEM

News, 12 March 2025

According to the press release, the collaboration between BOS and OEM in Europe, will span from SoC architectural design to AI software optimization and automotive system validation. BOS will provide an ADAS chiplet platform with one, two, or three Eagle-N dies and one Eagle-A die, utilizing the intellectual property already created for Eagle-N and Eagle-A. It is anticipated that this strategy will offer a versatile, adaptable system that can accommodate Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 autonomous driving cars.

Using a high-speed UCIe interface, the chiplet system configuration will make use of BOS’s Eagle-N AI accelerator and Eagle-A SoC.

With numerous PCIe ports, the Eagle-N, the first product in the Eagle ADAS SoC line, offers 250TOPS of AI acceleration. Mass production is scheduled for 2026, with evaluation samples due in April 2025.

Eagle-A is a standalone system on a chip (SoC) that supports PCIe Gen5/UCIe interfaces, an AI NPU accelerator, camera, lidar, radar fusion, and complex CPU/GPU workloads. Samples must be submitted by 1Q27, and mass production will begin in 2028.
