LG’s connected car solutions to be powered with Skyworks

LG Electronics’ latest Online Connectivity Units (OCU) being leveraged across Volkswagen automobiles to enhance connectivity are now powered with Skyworks’ semiconductor solutions. Skyworks, an innovator of high performance analog semiconductors connecting people, places and things is capitalizing on the need for advanced, next generation wireless devices addressing this growing market opportunity.

The OCUs offer drivers seamless access to features such as smart home and location-based services from their vehicles. Specifically, LG is leveraging eight Skyworks products, including advanced analog control ICs and integrated front-end modules.
