Tata Motors to showcase smart-cars with connectivity features at Auto Expo

Tata Motors at the 14th Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2018? will be demonstrating its capabilities and mobility solutions. The company will showcase 26 smart mobility solutions across its passenger and commercial vehicles brought alive in a specially curated theme across the pavilion.

Giving a sneak peek into the future with global premiere of some key PV and CV models, the company will also reveal its new design language – IMPACT Design 2.0 in PV. In CV too, Tata Motors is set to redefine some segments, with design that reflects a sense of purpose coupled with strength and quality.

Tata Motors in a release has mentioned that it is in a unique position to play a complimentary role in the government’s initiative of smart cities where everything is part of a connected eco-system. The company is committed to support this vision. With its end-to-end integrated mobility solutions across commercial and passenger vehicles.

According to some media reports, at the AutoExpo the company may be showcasing its smart-cars with connectivity features. The automaker may even be showcasing autonomous driving technology and the electric powertrains at the event.

It can be recalled that last year, Tata Motors had announced their partnership with Microsoft for the connected and smart-car platform. Both the companies on the connected car program that aims to use advanced technologies such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of things to enhance the driving experience, it is being expected that the company may showcase anything on this.

The company may also present its recently built 250 electric Tata Tigor cars for EESL also at the event. Other vehicles expected to be showcased are its first premium hatchback codenamed the X-451, the first car to be built on the new Advanced Modular Platform (AMP) and a SUV codenamed Tata Q501.
