Eicher launches EV small commercial vehicle

New Delhi, 3rd February 2024: Eicher Trucks and Buses, a division of VE Commercial Vehicles, announced its entry into the Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV) segment with the Global Unveil of its EV-First Eicher Truck at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. Carrying forward Eicher’s proud tradition of delivering innovative, sustainable, and economically viable transportation solutions, this Pro Business Pro Planet range spans from 2T to 3.5T GVW. The product has been meticulously designed to revolutionize city and near-city distribution and transform last-mile logistics.

Eicher plans to conduct customer trials for its SCV vehicle in April 2024. Furthermore, the company expects to roll out the commercial product in the first quarter of 2025. Moreover, the company will progressively move towards clean CNG and diesel variants. The product has been designed and developed in India. A state-of-the-art facility in Bhopal will manufacture it, standing as a proud example of the government’s Make in India initiative.
