Published: March 16, 2015 | Mexico City, Mexico

Two new models of the Nissan range, the new 2015 Juke and Titan have been added to the lineup of vehicles with NissanConnect. The system offers a global services platform for connectivity for security, information and entertainment; providing an experience of more innovative and integrated lifestyle customer management.

Through a color touch screen of 5.8 inches, you can synchronize multiple applications. TripAdvisor, Facebook, GooglePlaces, and Twitter are available in the vehicle with smartphones with Android and iOS systems. This system allows drivers and passengers to stay connected and related to the world around them, while helping to minimize distractions while driving.

The connectivity in vehicles is a global trend that increasingly takes greater role. Carlos Ghosn, president and CEO of Nissan Motor Corporation, has shared in various public forums brand plans to increasingly improve their connectivity vehicles, using systems that allow better access to social networks, entertainment applications and systems speech recognition, among other services.

“A little over a year of launching NissanConnect in Mexico, we have built 53,000 vehicles compatible with this system and are working to double this figure in 2015 with the addition of two new vehicles: JUKE 2015 and TITAN 2015.” – David Marquez, Senior Manager of Connected Vehicle Services for Nissan Mexicana

Currently there are nine Nissan vehicles that already have NissanConnect: March, Altima, Sentra, Frontier Pro4X, NOTE, Versa, X-Trail 2015 and the new entrants the new Juke and Titan 2015.
