Proton reveals its much-awaited Iriz concept car equipped with a two-screen Android-based infotainment system combining navigation and music. The car is also equipped with a video-based pedestrian detection and automatic braking system developed with LG.
In all its pictures teased prior to this date, Proton has only shown you its highest-spec Iriz 1.6 Premium. Down the line, things like the leather upholstery, keyless entry and the 6.2-inch touchscreen display come away quickly.
The touchscreen head unit sits above the three-dial AC controls, and features within it a built-in GPS system (for both 1.6 variants) and a reverse camera display. The unit hosts all your infotainment needs, such Bluetooth, USB (3 ports total; 2 for charging), AUX and WiFi connectivity. Yes, the free WiFi Huddle device is there for a reason (only for 1.6 variants), and it unleashes the potential of the car’s internet capabilities.
