Rdio today announced support for CarPlay, allowing its users to listen and control content from the subscription music service using the built-in touchscreen of CarPlay-enabled vehicles. Rdio joins  iHeartRadio, MLB At Bat, Spotify, Stitcher Radio, CBS Radio, and its own Podcasts and Beats Music apps as supported music streaming apps that are CarPlay compatible.

The updated Rdio app is available on the App Store now.

With this, users can now control Rdio playback and navigate their favorites and playlists from the built-in display of any vehicle that supports CarPlay.

The updated Rdio app today also brings UI optimizations and full support for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus with high-resolution imagery and improved album artwork. Another notable update for the service today: Its entire catalog is now available in high-quality 320 kbps audio for unlimited subscribers.

Listeners around the world now have four sound quality settings to choose from across iOS, Android, and the web. All Rdio users can choose between data-efficient 64 kbps all the way up to 192 kbps. Rdio Unlimited subscribers now also have the option of listening in pristine-quality 320 kbps. Plus individually select your audio settings for a variety of uses, whether you’re using Wi-Fi or cellular streaming or listening to offline downloads.
