VoiceBox Technologies, the  innovator of Contextual Natural Language Understanding (CNLU) and UIEvolution recently collaborated to accelerate voice innovations and next-generation solutions for interactive content services and navigation in cars.  The collaboration is an extension of a long-term strategic partnership between UIEvolution and VoiceBox that establishes a creative, commercial alliance combining VoiceBox’s expertise in advanced voice technology with UIEvolution’s leadership as an in-vehicle mobile connectivity kingpin.

VoiceBox’s leading voice and natural language understanding technologies will leverage the link between phone and vehicle provided by UIEvolution’s UIEngine LinkTM and the UIE CloudConnectTM service. UIEvolution’s industry leading solution allows drivers to securely access real-time data and services, such as news and music, using their mobile device or by directly connecting the car to the cloud. VoiceBox provides the unifying voice interface to disparate services and applications, while expertly managing multiple layers of context.  With VoiceBox, driver distraction is minimized because drivers can engage by talking naturally.

VoiceBox and UIEvolution will focus their partnership on developing compelling next-generation experiences that take advantage of the vast mobile content available to consumers.  Ultimately, customers will have more flexibility in differentiating their offerings while providing consumers quick and easy ways to utilize the mobile content, applications, and services they want when they want it.
