A Silicon Valley-based automotive electronics company, GROM Audio, has announced the availability of VLine for select Acura and Honda 2013 and newer vehicles.
VLine is an aftermarket computing device for car factory infotainment systems. It claims to offer easy access to the latest mobile apps through customer’s original infotainment panel. The apps like GPS navigation (Google, Waze, Sygic), music streaming (Spotify, Pandora, SoundCloud), voice assistant, and other driving relevant app are made accessible. It now also offers Android Auto for the compatible vehicles.
VLine VL2 Infotainment System has been introduced to the market back in 2018. Originally offered for select Lexus, Toyota, Infiniti and Nissan vehicles, it now became available for select Acura and Honda vehicles. The company, GROM Audio, is expanding its product compatibility and broadening the list of supported vehicles.
VLine is an Android based computing device that fully incorporates into the original factory stereo and display system, and integrates with the car stereo and steering wheel controls. It runs on Android 8.1, and allows users to install any driving assistant apps that they like. It also offers voice assistant within its interface.
