United Services Automobile Association (USAA), an insurance and banking services firm, has announced expansion of SafePilot in different states of US.
The USAA SafePilot™ app is typically driving habit monitoring system. The objective of this initiative is to encourage safe driving and in turn receive discounts on insurance. The SafePilot app instructs, inspires, and rewards safe driving habits to help keep drivers safe on the road while lowering insurance premiums. Members who enroll in SafePilot are now eligible for initial policy discounts up to 10% for signing up for the program, and continued policy discounts up to 30% for safe driving behaviour.
SafePilot is currently available in Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Iowa, Idaho, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia, and is launching in most states throughout 2021 to accommodate growing demand.
