Production grows exponentially, so August should be 100 cars and September above 1,500”. He further said in a next tweet “Looks like we can reach 20,000 Model 3 cars per month in December.”
The Model 3 is a mid-sized family car and is seen as the entry model by Tesla into the mass-market. It is priced around $35,000, which is less than half the cost of the £61,500 Model S. The Model 3 has been available for pre-order at $1000 deposit. The Model 3, when compared to Model X is not that customizable and the company has also kept the initial configurations of the Model 3 very simple against Model X.
