Tencent and Audi formed strategic partnership in digital services on Monday. Both parties will co-work on intelligent and connected digital ecosystem, including digital cockpit, digital marketing and user operation to offer customized mobility experience for Audi’s consumers in China.
Under this cooperation, the technology giant will provide Audi’s digital cockpit with its services and digital technologies such as social media, content services. Specifically, Audi vehicles equipped with latest generation of Audi connect can enjoy the in-vehicle Wechat, QQ Music, Tencent Light App and Tencent Maps.
In 2016, Audi China signed a memorandum of understanding with Tencent. Both companies were developing the integration of WeChat MyCar services into Audi models at that time.
