Hyundai AutoEver attains Level 3 cybersecurity certification

Date: April 26, 2024.Hyundai AutoEver, a Hyundai Motor Group subsidiary that provides both mobility software solutions and enterprise IT services for the auto industry, has obtained the Level 3 certification for the Global Automobile Cybersecurity Management System (CSMS) from TUV Rheinland, a renowned international standard certification agency.

This certification highlights Hyundai AutoEver’s dedication to cybersecurity in the automotive industry, ensuring that their processes establish a strong cybersecurity framework across the product lifecycle. The certification aligns with the requirements of both the UNECE Cybersecurity Vehicle Regulation. It also aligns with ISO/SAE 21434, which mandates cybersecurity across the automotive supply chain.

The Level 3 certification indicates that Hyundai AutoEver has established objective procedures to manage risk factors from vehicle design to production. It demonstrates their capability to ensure cybersecurity, particularly at the end-of-life stage.
