Starkenn tech unveils aftermarket ADAS solutions

Date: April 30, 2024. — Starkenn Technologies, a tech startup developing Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), offer products like BrakeSafe, a collision mitigation system; Attention, a driver monitoring system; and Stark-I, a fleet management software. These products are said to meet the requirements of Level-2 ADAS, and the company has already installed these safety solutions in over 2,500 vehicles.

Starkenn Technologies is known for its indigenous ADAS solutions designed to enhance road safety. It has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Shree Swami Samarth Tours and Travels, a travel agency based in India, known for operating a fleet of multi-axle coaches. This partnership is aimed at providing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for the fleet operator’s multi-axle coaches. The agreement was formalized at a curtain-raiser event for Prawaas 4.0, a multi-modal transport show organized by the Bus and Car Operators Federation of India.

The collaboration is expected to increase safety on the roads by creating a safer driving ecosystem for fleets, drivers, and passengers. Additionally, it aims to raise awareness about ADAS and fleet management in the Indian transport industry. It also focuses on building trust with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and the broader transport sector.

Starkenn Technologies has addressed some of the major challenges in adopting ADAS in India, such as cost, training, and compatibility. They achieved this by developing ‘Made in India’ products tailored to local conditions. Moreover, the company’s manufacturing unit is located in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai, with assembly operations in Aundh, Pune.
