Apache RTR 160 4V supports TVS Connect App

TVS Motor has launched the 2024 Apache RTR 160 4V at the MotoSoul event in Goa. The new model comes with several updates, including dual-channel ABS, a larger rear disc brake, voice assist, and a new Lightning Blue colour option. The bike is priced at Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 5,000 more than the previous model.

The same 159cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine powers the 2024 Apache RTR 160 4V, producing 17.4bhp and 14.7Nm of torque. A five-speed transmission pairs with the engine, offering three ride modes: Sport, Urban, and Rain. The bike also gets a revised exhaust system, which experts claim is 1kg lighter and has a better sound.

The bike also includes a new technology dubbed voice assist. This technology allows the rider to operate numerous bike features using voice commands. The voice assistant works in tandem with the Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster. The instrument cluster displays data such as speed, rpm, fuel level, trip meter, and navigation. The bike supports the TVS Connect app, which incorporates features like call and SMS notifications, lean angle mode, collision alarm, and tour mode.

In addition, the bike gets a larger 270mm rear disc brake as well as a 270mm front disc brake. Both brakes include dual-channel ABS for increased safety. It have also included adjustable clutch and brake levers, which were previously exclusive to the limited-edition RP model. Along with the existing Matte Black and Gloss Red color schemes, the bike now comes in Pearl White.

Company anticipates delivering it starting early next year.
